Backing Essex Business announces shortlist for ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the 2023 Tendring4Growth Business Awards
After receiving a fantastic range of entries from businesses all over the district, Backing Essex Business & Tendring District Council have decided on the shortlisted nominees for the Entrepreneur of the Year award at this years Tendring4Growth Business Awards ahead of the ceremony this October.
The business awards, hosted on 5th October, with Colbea as the headline sponsor, are set to be finale in a series of events hosted by Tendring District Council as part of the Tendring4Growth Business Fortnight – which will see seminars, networking events and a jobs and skills fair to celebrate the district's fantastic entrepreneurial spirit.
The award categories this year aim to celebrate the wide variety of entrepreneurs and businesses throughout the Tendring District; including Digital & Technology, Women in Business, Creativity and Culture to name a few.
The Entrepreneur of the Year award, sponsored by Backing Essex Business, recognises an entrepreneur who has paved the way starting a new business or significantly contributed to the running and growth of an existing one.
With many fantastic entries received, the team at Backing Essex Business have narrowed down the shortlist to 11 businesspeople ahead of the final judging stage. These nominees have all shown great motivation and innovative thinking in their work, and their achievements heightened even more through the economic difficulty of the on-going cost of living crisis.
