Empowering Confidence.

Neuronotion Owner Emma Emma-Jane Beaumont talks about her all-encompassing worksheet-based self-confidence programme, and how support from Southend on Sea transformative Business Support Programme delivered by Let’s Do Business Group has improved her own self-confidence and helped keep her on the right track for success.

Neuronotion, founded by Emma-Jane Beaumont in 2020 in Southend on Sea, Essex, is a self-confidence program designed to instill permanent and affordable boosts in self-esteem. Utilizing a combination of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Neuropsychology, person-centered therapies, and personal experiences, Neuronotion offers tailored courses and services aimed at individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

From her own experiences with self-confidence issues, she noticed a lack of accessible resources to support individuals struggling with low self-esteem. Recognizing the need to bridge this gap, Emma embarked on a journey to create a program that would empower individuals to cultivate lasting confidence.

“I built this business based upon the fact that I just have suffered with low self-esteem all my life, and I know what it is to feel like you are lacking. There isn’t really any support out there, so I built this course in order to help other people.”
— Emma Jane Beaumont, Owner, Neuronotion

Neuronotion offers courses tailored to the unique needs of each client. Asking its participants “Would you be friends with your inner voice” it then utilises worksheets grounded in NLP, neurosciences, client feedback, and personal experiences, providing a comprehensive approach to self-improvement. The courses aim to help individuals see themselves in a positive light, identify their strengths, and manage their expectations effectively.

The success of Neuronotion relies on its ability to cater to diverse audiences and address various aspects of self-confidence. From building self-esteem to enhancing social confidence, the program covers a wide range of topics. Moreover, its flexibility allows for remote delivery, enabling Emma to reach clients in Southend and Sea and beyond.

To further extend the program's reach, Emma established NeuroNotion Network CIC, a subsidiary aimed at providing support to underserved demographics such as youths and young carers. By leveraging funding, organisation, and sponsorship, Emma seeks to make confidence-building resources more accessible to those in need.

Neuronotion has already made a significant impact on individuals across various demographics. Through personalized coaching and structured courses, clients have experienced transformative moments, gaining newfound confidence and self-awareness. Whether it's a professional seeking to assert themselves in a male-dominated industry or a student struggling with self-esteem issues, Neuronotion's approach has proven effective in fostering personal growth.

“I want to be able to help people, and it has helped people. I’ve had quite a few clients have these ‘aha’ moments, and it’s wonderful to watch. It’s identifying things with them where they think actually, I could get a different perspective. It’s bringing out the qualities of people and improving on them.”

A helping hand

Working alone in a business can often be exactly that, lonely. Emma felt she needed some support in ensuring she was making the right decisions for her business success, a business mentor. Reaching out to Southend City Council, she was referred to Let’s Do Business Group, delivery provider of the Southend on Sea transformative business support programme.

In partnership with the Southend on Sea City Council, and fully funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Let’s Do Business Group provide businesses in Southend on Sea free practical support to strengthen their working practices, and access to finance to grow their business.

Emma was contacted by Let’s Do Business Group’s Business Manager John Sargant. Forging a great relationship from the very beginning, John and Emma worked together to develop her business, discussing product positioning, pricing, budgeting, and the creative aspects of her strategy, including digital marketing and social media.

John played a crucial role for Emma, his mentorship not only offering practical assistance but also as an emotional anchor during challenging times.

“John gave me confidence when I needed it most and helped me see my own potential. There’s been a lot of times where not only has his advice been invaluable, but he’s also been an emotional support. He has helped me deal with my frustration, and not just a business frustration, but a physical and mental frustration too. I have neurological problems which impact on many aspects of my life and I can get really frustrated. John was just priceless in helping with that. He was genuinely interested in what I had to say, and what I wanted to accomplish and rather than just being focussed on the numbers, he helped me find the light.”

The Future

Looking ahead, Emma aspires to expand Neuronotion's reach and empower even more individuals to embrace their worth. With a commitment to continuous learning and personal development, she aims to refine the program's offerings and adapt to the evolving needs of her clients. Ultimately, Emma's vision is to create a world where people of all ages feel empowered to be their authentic selves and pursue their goals with confidence.

This future is already one step closer, as Emma is now offering one to one coaching and has incorporated Neuronotion Network CIC, giving her access to vital funding and avenues to expand her work into the community, and where it is needed most.

“I would love to for people whether they're old or young to know how to be enough for themselves. To value themselves, know who they are, and be able to be unapologetic, because so many people aren't. I would love to be able to help as many people as possible to really back themselves and to achieve more because they have that belief.”
